How viable is giving Warding Breath to Nowi?

So my Nowi is an Atk+/HP- and is +3 merge and has the following skills and stats

W/o Weapon Stats:
Hp: 44
Atk: 38
Spd: 28
Def: 31
Res: 28

Weapon: Lightning Breath (Def)
Support: Reposition
Special: Aether
A Skill: Fury
B Skill: Quick Riposte
C Skill: Threaten Res 3
S Skill: Heavy Blade 3

Considering i don't have a Brave Ike
I was wondering how viable is it for me to replace Fury with Warding breath and if i do switch it with warding breath what else should i change so that my Arena Score is higher or Warding Breath being better synchronize with better Skills.

Warding breath is viable, because you are using it mainly for the cooldown boost anyway. To get higher arena score, change your support skill to a dual rally and give her a more SP expensive C skill (dual spur skills, drives, tactics, smokes and so on). Also, since you would be using warding breath, you can ditch the heavy blade seal.

Warding breath is good; I would personally play it with close def to bolster her def (which will be targeted mainly by melee, but you might need to battle an occasional Breath of Fog and it'll be a nice boost. She wins without CD but it's nice to have). Others are suggesting distant def, which also makes a lot of sense to really bulk up against mages. I prefer Fae to be bulking up against mages because red mages are uncommon and green mages are fairly common, but it's not a bad move on Nowi.

Thats because i use CD on -def Kana with waterbreath. Nowi usually has +def/spd/atk support through rally and hone atk + ally support wich is equal to having CD.
( i just had to say it)

See this is the thing with dragon teams; they're often competing for QR, DD, and CD seals. I like the setup you have there with CD + water breath, so warding breath + DD Nowi makes sense as the way to manage seals.
