How is this team?

While I train up some units like Halloween Jakob, I want to get a good idea on how well this team I'm using is for Arena. The seals suffer from low resources, usually coins, so they're at the level you see

Zelgius(Def+/Res-) +1 merge - Alondite, Swap, Black Luna, Fierce Stance 3, Vantage 3, Panic Ploy 3, Quick Riposte 2 seal, supporting Micaiah

Micaiah(Res+/Def-, suffers super bane) +1 merged - Thani, Sacrifice, Iceberg, Distant Defense 3, Desperation 3, Drive Atk 2, Atk Ploy 2 seal, supporting Zelgius

New Year Azura(Spd+/Atk-) - Hagoita+(need to figure out what to refine for her), Sing, Moonbow, Fury 3, Wings of Mercy 3, Hone Fliers(she's also part of a flier team, so that doesn't change), Fortify Defense 2

Elise(Spd+/HP-) - Wrathful Pain+, Recover+, Kindled-Fire Balm, Attack +3, Dazzling Staff 3, Savage Blow 3, Savage Blow 2 seal

I have two more Azuras and I can probably merge one of them since the IVs are HP+/Res- and HP+/Atk-. I might post up my Armor team for review, but apart from that how does this team stack?

Honest opinions are greatly appreciated.

Well, if you're gonna have NY!Azura, then you should really switch out Hone Fliers with something else. Even one of her later skills (Hone Attack 2 I think) would help way more than Hone Fliers. I get that you use her on Flier Emblem as well, but if you're gonna keep that skill, then you probably shouldn't use her (except for Guidance Seal, but you don't have that on her).

Zelgius looks fine.

Micaiah looks like a somewhat standard Desperation Micaiah I think. Maybe not Distant Defense, but preferences.

Elise, not sure. Never really seen her used except in Tempest Trials, lol.

Zelgius is great.

Desperation Micaiah is really kind of odd. Yours will only have 28 speed, meaning she will only be doubling a very minute portion of the cast. Very few of those have the ability to counter at range meaning you'll be doubling anyway. I'd much rather recommend Vantage, or a breaker if you're after a certain type of unit.

Azura works and I'd keep the current IV you have. Your main options for refinement are probably either speed or defense. Speed to bring her up to a solid 44 improving her survivability by near guaranteeing she won't be doubled, or sticking with her already solid 41 speed and increasing her survivability in defense.

Elise is standard for the pain gimmick.

A good team that only needs a couple tweaks to be great. Your Elise and Zelgius can do a dance routine that can practically never end and your sustainability is very high up there.

What's this "dance routine" you speak of concerning Elise and Zelgius?

Micaiah is an alternate healer, but her Sacrifice can put her straight into Desperation range. I do like the idea of Brash Assault though, so I will go with that.

Azura's Hone Fliers grew off of Hone Speed, so perhaps it can be useful for Elise and Zelgius, Zelgius in particular to keep him from getting doubled too much.

If you are running desperation on Micaiah, you should also run Brash Assault SS. Her SPD isn't very high.
Everything else look good, though switching out Hone Flyer for something else when you switch teams would be good. Flyzura can probably use a SPD refine so she will almost never get doubled.

your zelgius is, as everyone else said, fine.

micaiah doesn't have the speed for desperation tho so it would be optimal to give her the brash assault ss and it combos well with sacrifice.

you could just give azura hone attack 3 with little investment and she would be so helpful for zelgius if she had the guidance seal.

Elise should switch out kindled-fire balm in exchange for something like miracle or even imbue would be fine. balms are losing their place in the meta.

my only other nitpick is that you dont have a strong blue counter. azura could kill blue mages with her good speed and the -atk wont really affect her against them unless its odin or a +Def rein. Because of that, i'd suggest either running emerald axe on azura or lancebreaker on micaiah
