Originally I really hated the spd bane I have on mine (HP boon doesn't really help), but the fact is that he's somewhat slow even without a bane. I can't see better to do with him than TA+raven because it doesn't make sense to try to push his stats way up when he's the one supposed to push someone else's stats way up. The trouble becomes, I don't think I get much coverage even with TA+raven. He doesn't hit hard enough to 1-shot, and nobody gets more than one breaker (except with assassin's bow, but that's irrelevant here). I could go for QR, then I cover red tomes (except blade tomes, because bonus damage ignores the weapon triangle) and anything colourless except dazzling staves. Is that the best he can do?
As a footnote, I'm not the type that likes torrent dance. For me, breakers or wings of mercy on dancers, or QR or something like that. Urðr is great; I want my B-slot.
so shigure is kinda lacklustre but his attack is weirdly good for a singing dancer. i have a neutral shig and he has blarrblade, defiant attack, and escape route as well as a fully upgraded hardy bearing seal.
he can one shot most reds and some blues and is a nice finisher that can teleport around with ease and even if he cant secure a kill, he still has sing as well as the added mobility of escape route
Welp, even with Boon spd, there are better neutral dancers than him...
You can't save His Speed, but he Is More bulkier.
Think like that: Boon spd with spd seal cannot avoid doubles by top Tier archers, so a Bane at spd is necessary (like the banes for medíocres spd)
Raven + TA and good Hp, you can resist Quad.
You see the Lyon? Horrible spd, get Quad, with 26 def, and still alive. QR seal (if not earth dance) and blue tome/lance/sword breaker.
He Is acceptable. But If he Is the main blue un your team, use sword breaker as rule.
He could run a Blardblade set should you want an offensive Mage with the Sing Skill. Here's a set I use: The basic idea is that you have a unit who can refresh as well as "heal". With Dancer's Score+ and both Breath of Lifes to heal 21 HP. Great for Tempest Trials and Chain Challeges. On Arena Duels, I run a Blarraven set. Am I only one annoyed that Shigure wasn't a Flying Dancer, but B!Ninian is? It should have been the other way around.
