How many people would fodder off five star heroes for basic skills?

So I have this dilemma.... I have an eh iv Karel for some time, and I rarely use him. I just have so many sword units and I just never really spent time on him. If I don't particularly care for him, would it be a wise choice to fodder him off for desperation, despite being able to find that from Shanna? I haven't pulled any Shanna's in so long :(

Not worth it imo. I would just wait until you find a good reason to pull blue on a banner and pull until you get a Shanna.

The question is what you would get out of foddering the desperation. If you can suddenly make a team that's strong enough to get you into AR T21, that's pretty significant because once you're there it's pretty easy to stay in (but getting in is quite hard, at least right now). If you're building some unit that doesn't come out except in AA, I don't think you're getting good value for that unit.

If I were to fodder Karel, I'd probably try to pick up the wo dao+. That can potentially save 20k feathers, which is quite significant.
