How many orbs for a 5* +10?

I think I'm finally going to put my foot down and build a 5* star +10 unit. Levin is one of if not my absolute favorite FE unit and I completely missed out on him the first time.

After looking at it on several summoning simulators, it would take roughly somewhere between 700~1100 orbs depending on the colors on the next banner he is on and just my luck in general. I figure if I'm completely faithful I can grind this amount out in a few months.

To those of you who have done this: Is this about right? If not, how many did it take you? What unit did you do? Was it worth it?

I spend like 1,100 orbs in the CYL2 banner and only got veronica to +6. But i was pulling to all colours because i wanted at least one copy of every hero on the banner, in the end i got them all.

Just pray to the rng gods.

Okay so Lewyn is easily my top 5 character in this game After playing 4 the man is a total badass tbh.
I don’t think he needs to be +10 let me explain

1) his weapon is extremely powerful at +Spd he has 40+(Swift sparrow) his best boom is Atk with Life+Death since he doesn’t need his bulk since he won’t be touched with the reverse desp
2) he’s super powerful without merges I have him +Spd and he’s an absolute monster who murder everything without merges. He can prod Astra at will with flashing blade.

3)His fodder oppprtunity amazing special works really well on Lilliana,Ophelia, Celica etc.

4) I saved up 420 orbs when his banner released and managed to pull 3 copies I’ve just kept him for fodder because he’s so busted that he destroys so many units with his reverse desp tome.

- youre better going with a +10 armor for some insane stats but if you prefer a even more broken Lewyn then go for it my man they definately did this man right

I'm really wanting to do it because of how much I like him but aw man you're so right about special spiral. I'm gonna have to think harder about this. Thanks for the input!
