How good are neutral IVs?

Since I somehow managed to pull a bunch of heroes with neutral IVs, I was just wondering how good they are and If there are some heroes who would work actually better with neutral IVs. xD

Ive have a neutral brave Roy, brave lyn, male corrin, nowi, titania, Soleil, Raven, PAzura...and of course heroes we got for free like...L!ike or GHB units (playing since day 1 so I think I have all of them...) xD
...I have to say, actually it was more meant like an general question like how good would be the choice to choose neutral over other IVs, but maybe one of them is actually good with them xD

There are very few units that really "can't" work with neutral IVs, but those are usually units that have extremely low stats to begin with, like Olwen (she really wants an attack boon, but I guess it's not "as" bad if she's neutral) or Odin.

And by "can't" I don't mean they're completely lost causes, I mean they really "shouldn't" be heavily invested into if it's possible to get them with IVs much more beneficial.

I stubbornly use my -Atk +Res Olwen, merged to +1 as the second copy had even worse IVs and keep hoping I get one with either benefical boon and bane or a neutral one!

So yes, I'm willing to testify neutral can easily be better than unit with IVs, more often than I'd like I get a really problematic bane combined with a somewhat indifferent boon (looking at you, all my Soleils!). I think someone mentioned in another thread that they thought one of the Ikes was almost optimal at neutral, but I can't remember who it was and which Ike they referred to. Probably legendary one.

MCorrin, Nowi and PAzura could use neutral IVs.
Theres better IVs to MCorrin and Nowi obviously, but be neutral is not the end of the world.
And PAzura is a dancer, so the IVs are okay in anyway.

Neutral IVs for units are definitely workable depending on which units they are.

well neutral stats are well, neutral, neither really bad or really good! they're always workable

It is dependent on the character. Sometimes they need the IVs, other times like dancers they're good enough to do what they're supposed to in neutral.

In a few cases neutral is actually probably optimal

Hardin is better with neutral IV for arena score, and combat-wise it is just as good as other IVs as well.
I prefer dancers with neutral IV normally, for more survivability plus a bit of damage.
Generally speaking tho, neutral can be bad for some minmaxed unit but all rounded units can work with that as well.
