How exactly is shield pulse working

The skill look interesting but they description makes it a bit confusing.

So from what I get, once your special is charged and you get attacked by an opposing unit, after the fight you'll get -2 CD on special ?

So basically if my moonbow is up and I get attacked, after the fight i'll have moonbow back up ?

And if let's say I have a 5cd special up and get attacked. I'll take 1 hit from ennemy, then hit him once with the special and if my unit or the ennemy gets a follow up i'll end up with just 2 cd on my turn ? Do I get that right ?

So basically the skill would be usefull during ennemy phase but do nothing during my phase ?

Shield Pulse only has an effect on specials that proc defensively, like Aegis. And then it's like Quickened Pulse where it reduces the charge on the first turn.

So, offensive specials are completely unaffected.

Nope, only the specials that activate when you get hit.

Basically Shield Pulse has 1 condition and 2 effects :
Condition : use a Special that activate when you get hit (i.e. sacred cowl).

Effect 1 : reduce the CD by 2 on turn one (i.e. sacred cowl CD would be ready from the start : CD=0/2)

Effect 2 : reduce by 5 the incoming damage to your unit when its Special triggers.
