How does everyone feel about Rival Domains?

I personally think it can be OK. It's just a little rough around the edges. Mainly, enemy warping gives me Thracia tier PTSD.

This is my opinion.
I've come to a conclusion that the infernal mode on rival domains is not up to par with the GHB infernal mode units and that the difficulty should be upped to GHB infernal standard. Given that we already have 8 units on the field this makes it much much easier in terms of difficulty to beat said domain. The fact that we don't even need to defend for 10 turns and just brute force the whole domain by killing everything that appears and destroying their bases right away is a testament to said fact.

that enemy warp surprised me a little when I started the normal challenge too lol. I was like how can this unit teleport from the other base that fast then I remember that it also works both ways as what the rules stated before you start out the game.

Yep it's ok till it becomes Chaos at Infernal though. Was forced to user 4 armours to tank up the damage, brought in my heavenly light healer and 1 dancer then let the amours do what they are best at and use the range to take out the bases.

Was hoping that Rival Domains would be more rewarding though. There's a scoring system yet you wonder what you get for the score you attain. As for now it seems more like a personal achievement to get the a new high score other than that it's nothing significant.

I love it! Just wish the reinforcements would come sooner instead of just after your units start dying.

I’ll be honest: I apparently suck at Rival Domains and can’t beat infernal if my life depended on it. It is really making me feel stupid.

What teams did you bring?
I/We can help you out if you post some units(if you need/want help).

I think the best way to handle this mode is to use flier emblem on bottom left and horse emblem on the right and immediately rush the first fortress so as there would only be 4 units coming out per turn.
With this in mind, I would mostly use sweepers so that with every attack of your unit, one unit on their side will die.

Otherwise, you can also go defensive. Using those defensive tiles in the middle.(which is not my preference but could be yours since you like Michalis).

1. Split up your teams to focus on different areas
2. Use Michalis and other fliers to reposition strong units over the river on the right
