How do you handle it

Sry his isnt a gameplay question but i have to share it

I saved up the last 4 month for a hector only banner went for it today 625 orbs 1 off focus fallen celica and no other 5*

Now my 400k feathers for my Project athena and Titania just sit ther looking sad i really am thinking about quitting this game it upsets me more than it makes me happy lately.

How do you guys handle it i mean its just a game but this really sucks the only thing that makes me happy right now is the fact that i never spend a dime on it.

Take a break but then i ll miss out on orbs or just keep pushing through??

EDIT: are there any other FEH style games you could recommend that maybe dont fuck over their rng so bady (though i heard feh is one of the "fairest" ones out there

That's pretty bad.
I mean, you can take a break by just playing the game for 5 minutes per day to get the daily rewards and work on quests. You won't lose time and you will be ready when something catches your eye again.

I know it's easy to say this in hindsight, but knowing the limit when it comes to ending the summoning session always helps, because consecutive bad summons always affect your patience and overal mood/frustration severely.

I was in your pants (not 625 orbs but around 150 for 0 five stars) and I quit playing for 4-5 months.

I lost a lot of orbs, banners of my favorites FE games and f2p units like BK or Joshua but you know what? Totally worth, after that I enjoy the game again.

thats one of 2 reasons i not outright quitting im afraid i might miss too much and the fact i have other units i invested pretty heavily in

If you linked your account to Nintendo, you wont lose anything.

For me, it doesnt matter at all. I lost BK? Yes, but after I went back, I summoned Zelgius. I miss both Mia and Ayra new banners? Haha, now i have 3 and 2 of them. Even the feathers or seals lost are fine for me, since I dont care about arena rank and I managed to upgrade the best seals (QR, DD, CD, Atk +3, Spd +3).

It's just a game, if I dont enjoy playing, bye bye, see you later.

Just create another account and keep reroling good unit until u got ur mood back from disapointing 600 wasted orb. After you get your good mood, switch back to ur main account, and keep saving orbs to get redemption on next legendary banner or in your case, hector baner. Stay strong !!1!1!11!

I try to mitigate my RNG by doing three things: 1. only pulling focus orbs (your chances of getting SOMETHING are twice as high if you do this, and even if you account for the next summon costing 5 orbs instead of 3, you'll still get marginally better mileage this way). 2. Occasionally color sniping if I really want only one thing in a banner. And 3. Saving for legendary banners with an 8% drop rate.

I color sniped green in the hector banner and while I didn't spend nearly as many orbs as you, I was worried about coming up empty handed all week.

Don't keep doing something that makes you unhappy. I guess just remember that nothing is promised in life and you can make the best of what you've got.

well i completely sniped for green but the game was very hesitant to give me green orbs and i didnt go colourless because didnt want a mathew/serra so i went red hence the fallen celica, as for legendary banners those tend to fail me pretty badly i normaly go for 3% sniping

agreed on your last statement the only thing that keeps me from deleting my acc is all my other units i invested to heavily in

is it even possible to get 1 5* unit from 600+orbs? LOL, pretty sure after around 200-300 orbs u r guaranteed to get a 5* at least 1. But ouch, just continue play the game without looking at the banner tab for a while I guess.

Unless that Celica was your pity breaker your pity rate should be pretty high right? Did you pull only greens or all colors? Since the Hector banner only had 1 green and 2 colorless it would've been a bad move to pull on other colors.

I'd say about 50% of the batches i got were with no green orb but its the colour with the lowest unit counter so yeah..... so i pulled only for blue/red fo not accidentaly pull mathew/serra and quit after 1 pull. still kinda unlucky sniping

Went through the same on the Fallen Heroes banner, ironically got F!Celica as well as the only focus unit I didn't want. 7% pity rate sucks.
My advise(what I did as well), don't summon, save orbs as long as you can for a banner you really want a unit.
I saved since the Fallen Heroes banner and did a few first cicle summons on the way, till L!Hector broke my spirit.
I had to spend ~650 orbs to get him, but I got him. Doesn't matter how bad your luck is, with enough orbs stocked you can get everything. I could've used my rest orbs(400) if that wasn't enough.

I take my ball and go home... Seriously though that sucks! I usually go into a banner If I don't hit a 5* by 4.5% I will summon full circle and stop after getting 1 5* unit. I'm just going to guess that you were sniping greens and got that Celica when there weren't any? It sucks, but it happens. If you feel the need for a break I would suggest just log on to get your daily login (maybe claim your free summons), and if that ends up feeling like a chore, play a bit to see if it reignites your fancy if not than you may be happier flat out dropping the game.

What I do is, I usually run a few full circles just to get the pity rate up (around 3.75-4% and hey if I get a 5* on the way no biggie as I hadn't invested too many orbs). Then I'll try sniping a few rounds once the rate is over 4.5% I just full circle (with the exception of avoiding the 3-4* 5*'d characters if possible) again because it feels like wasted orbs if I don't get a 5* otherwise.
