How do you guys make use of the favorite system?

For me, I use it a little differently compared to most people.

1. Default (never used)
2. Units with Neutral IV's
3. Legendary Heroes (regardless of IV's)
4. Utmost Favorite units (also my favorite childhood color, being green)
5. Dancers
6. Units with utmost optimal boon/bane possible
7. Units with utmost worst boon/bane possible
8. Units with either an optimal boon or bane, but desires a better boon or bane

I saw Sacred Spear's video and he uses his favorite system a little more creatively.
1. Neutral
2. GHB / TT Units
3. Unused
4. +HP
5. +Atk
6. +Spd
7. +Def
8. +Res

I would like to hear how you guys made use of this (I know I am far too late to ask this when it came out, but never really came to mind).

I got so used to the 1 favorite only, that I didn't even start sorting heroes like that.

I have all my 5 stars favorited (with the exception of extra copies waiting to be foddered) and lower rarity heroes with optimal IVs are also favorited just so I don't accidentaly fodder them off.

My use of this system is straight forward but i used to it,
1) 5* & 4* i use excluding raven tome mages
5) raven tome mages bcz i couldn't find them
I dont need more categories for 2 reasons
1) i dont have troubles to find unit i need at the moment
2) too lazy to organize 60+ units
All else is for fodder and 4*+10 that needs skills and merges.

Report

1. Perfect IV
2. Perfect boon - neutral bane
3. Perfect boon - suboptimal bane
4. Perfect boon - bad bane
5. Good boon - neutral bane
6. Good boon - bad bane
7. Seasonals with neither good or bad IV
8. Seasonals with bad IV

This way, even if i don't remember well the IV of the character i know if i can get a better IV spread of said character or not

1. Normal. All 5* copies with best IVs that I have (so if there are multiple copies, the one with better IVs gets favorited)
2. 4* Supermerges
3. GHB & TT units
4. none
5. Legendary Heroes
6. none
7. none
8. Other (units for GHB guides and stuff so i don't merge by accident)

Report

Well i only have them up to 7. The last one i'm not sure

1. 5* units that i use with good/perfect IVs
2. Fodder material
3. Merge Material
4. Unsure of what to do
5. Summoner support
6. 4* Units with good/perfect IVs that will be brought to 5* sooner or later
7. 4* Units with mediocre IVs and waiting for better ones

I do like to color code my neutral/free to play (F2P) guide video units. Like 5* and 4* Clarisse get used in different videos, so I take advantage of that. I've also built a custom Zephiel for my armor emblem team, but can also use his default kit for F2P vids.

However, the rest of those are quite interesting ^w^ I think personally, I might lean towards coloring by movement types and Tempest/Arena/Story teams.

Favorite 1 (pink): for units i use and fodder skills to.

Favorite 4 (green): for units i have copies in favorite 1 for merges.

Favorite 7 (purple): for units with skills for fodder.

Those are the colors i use to quickly spot which units are for and for units without hearts i send home for feathers.

I am considering using a variant of Sacred Spear's, though I'm thinking of using the Pokémon stat colors (Res will be rep by sp.def, while the rest are self-explanatory, though I can use Sp. Atk's color for HP, since Pokémon has no HP boons).

Will decide on neutrals.

I thought of using the colors to denote origin, but my barracks kinda did it on its own, so...

Edit: 2 for +Atk, 3 for +Def, 4 for +Res, 5 for neutrals, 6 for +HP, and 8 for +Spd. Anyone on 1 are still awaiting assignment, while 7 will be unused.

I use mine to keep my teams sorted, so I don't loose anyone.
1.) My absolute favorites in my main team
2.) Horse Emblem
3.) Flier Emblem
4.) Armor Emblem
5.) Infantry Emblem
6.) Mixed Emblem
7.) Mage Emblem

Honestly I only use the favorites for characters I use or may use. With 1 being for my merge projects, 8 being for units I may use typically 4*s with good ivs. And then the rest I kinda just dumbly pick what color matches the unit.
Like Ephraim has light blue hair, so he gets the light blue heart.
