How do buffs work with the special skill Ignis?

The Damage Calculators on different sites add buffs differently, and I'm confused.

I know that buffing base stats with skills like Fortify Cavalry add to the damage Ignis does.

But do the conditional in-combat buffs like Armored Blow, Close Defense and Earth Boost also add to Ignis' total damage?
And some calculators add Spur skill buffs to its damage, but does anyone know if they actually do?

I'm hoping that Close Defense does count towards Ignis so I can deal +40 damage when it triggers.
