How to Build this B!Ike

So I got a Brave Ike during my free summon, checked his IV's, and sadly he has is +Spd/- Attack...
I'm super happy I got him, and although I got his worst possible IV, I really want to use him.

How do I build him to maximize his IV's?

(P.S. I am F2P so I cant give him insane skill inheritance but that doesn't mean that it's out of the picture entirely.)

Give him bonfire or ignis. Play him defensively. The +speed will actually help stop him being doubled as easily (opponent will need 36 speed to double him). Unless you have a better C slot skill to give him, the rest of his kit is good to go.

Would I use Quick Riposte or Vantage as his B slot in a non- Arena setting, or leave it as is?

Depends how you set him up. If you run him a bit like you would Lukas, then you need to give him a defence +3 and someone to run fortify defence for him. This would bring him to up to 42 defence before steady breath, and realistically, anything except something red or magical will do very little to zero damage on him.

However, I don’t find QR that useful on him, as he really shines against the likes of Reinhardt and Brave Lyn who can’t kill him but do enough damage to take say 10-15 HP off him. This is where Vantage shines on him as he can stay in the game for a very long time.

Edit: I kept it as is for arena, but he does have vantage in his arsenal for certain GHB and BHBs where he can repeatedly wall enemies right down to his last breath

I personally run Quick Riposte on mine. This guarantees he'll activate Aether anytime he counters, unless the foe falls by the first stroke of his axe, which does happen sometimes

Use QR, Aether. If melee attacks him, he'll proc Aether, kill said attacker, and heal himself with no turn wasted. If a mage attack him, all they'll do is give him Aether, then he kills them and heals on the next turn.
You'll be pretty much invincible against a horde of blue and green melees.
