How bad is it that I've spent more money on this game then Fire emblems I want to play?

I've never played Conquest, Fates, or Revelations or finished Echoes, but I've spent 200$ total on Heroes. 40$ of orbs disappears so fast too.

Imagine all the drugs and hookers that you could have bought with that money...

If you enjoy a game or service you should support it, within your means. More revenue means more assets, more content, better experience (sometimes)

In almost everyone's eyes, Fates was a 'flop'. (Excluding me) I totally respect that a majority of the characters in that game are bland and had potential to be an interesting character, but no. Most units were interesting. I loved Fates and you cannot go wrong with the Ost, it's arguably the best one.

Damn that's a lot of money to spend on a game like this..

if you feel bad about spending $200, just think about all the girls at my school who spend double that amount to get a designer backpack.

Yep, same here. Seeing all those people getting Supreme and Versace bags..

Ha, every time I see someone with a designer bag, I always tell them that their bag is fake xD

I personally don't appeal to the idea of spending in this game. I like to feel like I actually did it, myself. If I were to get +10 characters through paying or high rank in Arena, it wouldn't feel as good because my money did most of it.

Using your money as you fit makes sense, but using it in FEH particularly just doesn't make a lot of sense to me.

Or make up that slightly improve their look now, but will ruin their skin and makes them look 40yo at 30yo.
Throwing money at a game is a vice, but of no consequenses as long as it doesn't harms your wealth and health. Try to be in control.

$200 is literally nothing. Come back when you've spent at least as much as I have.

I actually managed to get the Fates SE for free, essentially, because I sold all the parts of it other than the game and game case for the same price I purchased the whole SE for. It was awesome.

I've spent more on Heroes than I would have thought, too, though for a long time I never spent any money. But I figure, as long as I have it and wouldn't miss it too much, then spending it to enjoy something I have fun with isn't so bad. If you compare it not to other video games but to other hobbies in general, it's a lot less expensive than some. Just don't spend beyond your means is the main thing, I think.

I spent somewhere around that or less, and when I regret that choice, I just tell myself it's to make up for the GBA games I played on the Emulator in the 2000s.
