Hopes and Concerns about the Falchion banner

I did a custom summoning test for the upcoming Falchion banner with the FEH summon simulator on github (very fun simulator to give a try) and I have one main concern so far on that banner. This is assuming if the banner has Alm, Marth, Chrom, and Lucina all on that banner.

I really want Alm because of the Double Lion Refinement, but my recent simulation test took me around 1260 orbs (around $680 real money) in order to get at least one Alm. I did get a bunch of Chroms, Lucina's and Marth's in between.

With all of this in mind, I am worried that people might spend money on a actual "bait" banner. I'd never thought I would say a banner would be bait, since people saw the potential of Alm, he is now a top tier and extremely sought out to add to many teams to counter Dragon Spam in the Arena.

What my hopes are is that they do a special type of higher focus rates for each of these Falchion users so that people don't keep pulling the same one that they don't necessarily need anymore aside from merges and some skills (Aether in the case for Chrom and Lucina).

On a side note, I myself already have all of the Falchion users except Alm.

My hope is that people won't actually spend money on a banner that has nothing but red sword focus units. You can pull Alm, as well as every other unit, in the regular summoning pool, so while you're looking for OTHER red units, you can get one of them as well, like I did. There's no point in spending money on one of the worst banners considering, again, it's nothing but all red focus units.

If people wanna summon then fine, but don't be upset and disappointed if/when you get pity-broken by EVERY OTHER FOCUS UNIT except the one you're going for.

Unless they do something to adjust the rates of each individual Falchion lord, this is probably one of the worst banners.

I think if you go into this banner looking for a specific character you're setting yourself up for disappointment, I have no Falchion users so it might be worth it for someone like me, although I only want Chrom so i'm not going to bother, especially with all the other banners out
Spending orbs on this banners probably a bad idea in most cases, spending money is a bad idea on any banner lol

Yeah or if you are, at least keep expectations in a realistic manner that it's fine if you don't get what you want unless you are a whale.

No orbs for you, Falchions. I want Hector. So free summon on red and that's it.

That's probably what I may do anyway because even though I REALLY want Alm, the potential bad luck trying to pull multiple times for Alm is very high unless I get him on the free summon.

The hope would be either to allow you to choose one of the 4 as your primary focus, or to split the banner 2 and 2 - Marth and Alm on one, Chrom and Lucina on the other. If they do that, I might consider trying my luck to keep merge-boosting best girl. If not, free summon and out for this guy.

That can also work. Just like the original banners at the start or the dual banners of Alm and Celica's army in a sense. Two falchions on each of the two banners can allow more control over who you want to pull for.

Alms the only on I'm missing but I won't be doing any more than my free summon, hopefully on red and likely for a 3* Tiki or Selena knowing my luck with free summons.
