The opposite of gains. I sit in a friend's basement and we play tactics games to ensure we work literally nothing but our minds. I theory it might have in some way helped with tactical thought, but seeing as FE has so little movement I sorta doubt any of it really carries over.

That's basically what I meant. Used to be pathfinder, which is just a previous version of D&D that someone took and rebalanced a little. Lately some sci-fi stuff has taken over most of the time since it has a good balance of numbers and character focus.

I don't have a lot of free time anymore. (Also the reason why I haven't been posting as often on here...) :(

Back then, I used to practice drawing as a hobby, and I probably would probably be doing that more often if I weren't as busy or tired as I am nowadays.

I'm personally into art of all kinds, like portraits, comics, and digital stuff, and I'm just getting into working out but not that knowledgeable yet as far strength training goes but that's what I'm learning about so far.

Just getting into working out? If you got any questions, hit me up bro. Watch Athlean-X as well, great youtuber for fitness videos and such. It all really comes down to what your goal is. Do you want to build muscle size? Want to be stronger or have greater endurance? Also, I highly emphasize good form. Bad form can lead to lots of joint problems that can catch up to you when you get older, so prioritize safety and health over strength and such.

The majority of my time is spent working, but on my days off I attempt to write while listening to music. Pretty easy to lose track of time and slowly working on one of those bike treadmills is an easy way to exercise without thinking about it.

The theory behind crossfit is good, I'll give it that. But the execution... Who tf thought olympic lifting was a great idea for CARDIO. Crossfit is a high risk high reward in the worst possible situation where you put your body on the line.
Let me break it down:
1. Dangerous. The idea behind it is that you should keep pushing beyond weight you can do (Sounds good, keep making gains),but this leads to terrible form and people dropping the weights on themselves and hurting themselves badly.
2. Inexperienced coaches: Yes, you can have a chance of finding a good coach, but often times you'll be stuck with an inexperienced coach that teaches you (incorrectly) all the dangerous exersices. This js mainly due to crossfit being so popular for newcomers and bringing in the most cash that these coaches want in on (Because fitness coaches don't make too much). Not only that, but to become a certified crossfit coach you take a TWO DAY COURSE. Yeah, 2 days to learn so many complicated and advanced movements for a whole bunch of beginners trying to join the gym.

I have so many other points but they all relate to bad form, injuries just waiting to happen and pointless workouts. Ever heard of kipping pull-ups where you put leg momentum into a pull-up? You are literally erasing the actual arm movement where you make gains to get yourself up, may as well have someone lift you up and down because you are making ZERO gains, just like most other crossfit workouts. ZEROOOOOOO.

Just do resistance training, 1-5 reps, or 8-12 or 12-15 reps.

Well, I am a College student, so studying I suppose.

If not this, then I actually write (as in I wanna write a novel) and I'm a guitarist (though pseudo retired due to college)

And maybe some excercise. Though college and lack of sleep don't really make that last one an easy choice.
