So, I'm trying to put together a second Flier Emblem team. I've got Michalis and Bunmilla, the former running a high defensive set designed to make his Ignis strike like a meteor, and the latter running Blade, Fury with Iote's Shield seal. I'm unsure who to include for the last 2. Options I have are Hinoka(+spd/-HP) Tana(-Spd/+Res) H!Nowi(Neutral) Palla(+Atk/-unsure) and Est(+atk/-Unsure) The only real problem I face is that Bunmilla and Michalis both fail to KO Brave Lyn without their specials activating(Unless Brave Lyn has Brave Bow, and Bunmilla can unleash her full Blade power)Who in that list is best suited to take Brave Lyn out, without requiring some high end skills? I'm guessing Hinoka with her Brave Lance, but if that is the case, what is her best skill set that utilizes the Brave Lance, or is there another set she can use with sufficient results to knock Brave Lyn flat?
I have + Spd - Def S.Camilla and she take down +10 merge Lyn and +10 Moonbow Rein in single enemy phase. If you do not have her, simply going firesweep on melee unit should do the job killing B.Lyn on player phase. Like firesweep,LAD or SS2, Hit and Run. Seems like Tana or Hinoka should do the job there. I mean if Hinoka gives Hone Flier to Tana or Palla that should do the job. You can also kill B.Lyn with H.Nowi if she is on desperation range.
Hinoka/Est would be your best bet. Est has the better iv and easier to get merges for eventually. Her problem is you have to build her from scratch.

As for the red either one works. Depends on whether you want another mage flier or melee. I like Palla more and haven't used HNowi all that much. HNowi at least provides you with Hone Fliers if you don't use Hinoka and can provide some nice warping shenanigans if you use Grimoire.
Well, Hinoka and/or H!Nowi should be in that team considering both of them are the only units (minus FlyZura) that has Hone Fliers. Palla has Goad, so, if you wish, you can fodder that to another unit, or put her on the team (not really recommended to put Palla on Flier Emblem unless last resort imo).
With the two already included, I'd run...

-Spring Camilla
-H!Nowi
-Hinoka/Est
Est has the highest attack stat out of all them (correct me if I'm wrong) considering she's got an attack boon, putting her at 38. Hinoka, on the other hand, has 35 speed with her speed boon. Many people tend to give Est a Brave Lance+ to make her even more of a powerhouse, but she requires quite a bit of investment, whereas someone like Hinoka doesn't require as much.
As for Brave Lyn.. The only thing I've really used as an Archer counter in terms of flying units was Spring Camilla with Raven + TA. Even without Iote's Shield, she never really took that much damage from archers... Can't recommend anything that would completely obliterate B!Lyn, so the only thing I can offer you is a B!Lyn bait, which is Raven Tome + Triangle Adept Bunmilla. :L
If you use a brave lance set on Hinoka, using L&D becomes almost mandatory to consider her for a quad strike build (if not looking for a quad strike, death blow 3 is also good, and throwing an ATK seal on her beefs her attack to respectable levels). So use Hinoka for sure. You definitely need a red unit to balance your colors (because I’m OCD by self-admittance) so either H!Nowi or Palla, depending on how much investing you can/want to do. Palla can become a force to be reckoned with if you invest heavily in her, but Nowi is also good since you can stick a blade tome on her and have 2 blade runners on your team (and more hone flier power if you like using hone fliers). My preference, go with Nowi if you have a spare Tharja and toss either fury or L&D on her, she would be a hard hitter then with the potential to double a majority of the time, but she would become a glass cannon.
I actually put a Palla to a mass calculator, giving her Brave Sword + Death Blow, Axebreaker and Moonbow. With Hone Fliers buff on her, she obliterated every green except Brave Ike(because of his Urvan) and every Bow except H!Jakob(because of his high defenses and Wary Fighter) And that was setting her at no merge and all the opponents at Max merge.
The thing about mass calculators is that they don't account for the skills that tend to be used on the unit except for what's in their default kit unless you put in each unit individually. For example, you could do Brave Lyn vs all flying units and you'd see that she'd demolish Bunmilla, but that's because the calculator only put in her default kit. It doesn't account for any set running something like Raven tome Camilla.
I think from the advice I've gotten so far, I'm gonna try running Michalis with Fortify Fliers, Bunmilla with her Blade(and also Fortify Fliers) Hinoka with Hone and Slaying Lance, and Palla with Goad, Brave Sword Death Blow, as a 1 on 1 duel simulator shows taht even with Fortify Cavalry, Brave Lyn needs either an HP or Def boon and max merge to survive it if Palla has no buffs. If Palla has the buff from Hone Fliers, Brave Lyn is SOL. If that doesn't pan out well, I can sub H!Nowi in, and switch back to Hinoka's Brave Lance.
