So, question: I have a +Atk/-Def already built for him, but I pulled another Ryoma who came as +Spd/-Def. (As much I'd like to prevent a Def bane, that is beyond my control.)

So... hard hitting bruiser or make a secondary speed demon?

Speed is Ryoma's main draw. Use the +Spd, and merge the +Atk into him.

Lucky that you got a +3 merge. He could be a heavyweight in the arena now.

I've had this Ryoma for quite some time now. He's one of the few units who has broken my pity rate quite a few times as a non-focus unit, but I'm always happy to see him regardless.

This time around, he's actually from the focus banner.

Yeah. The only time to be disappointed that a Ryoma broke your pity rate is if you already have him +10 merge. He's not good skill fodder
