He's almost done.

My Canas is almost complete, the last step is the merge, but I'm so glad I'm able to accomplish this.

Basically, this a offensive Wings of Mercy build, Atk/Spd Bond synergies with his Owl Tome, giving him a total of 41 Spd, which is decent. Wings of Mercy is there for ease of being next to allies. Res Tactic is there just because he had it. What do y'all think? I didn't want to make another enemy phase mage with a free unit.

I like the approach you did with him. Atk/spd Bond is really rare so i think it was a tough choice to give it to him.

With his atk/spd Bond he can have +15 atk/spd considering hone atk, hone spd, the owl effect and ally support while having two allies next to him. So i think with 58 atk and 49 spd he is a force to be reckoned with.

His res will be 43 and def even 31 if you were to buff those too.
Unfortunately, i didnt have a bond skill like that so i gave mine fury 3 and refined his owl to res instead, since distant weapons only get 2 points in a refinery.

But all in all i would say he is pretty good. Especially if he gets the 2 extra points by merging him. It´s not easy to make him capable on his own unfortunately, but thats something which IS has to be blamed for.

Oh, i forgot his water seal, if you use it with fjorm then he gets 53 spd by the way. I still think his owl tome is the best choice, for a raven tome for example is his def just too low. I think IS thought the same, so that players will buff him alot, and also beceause Rauorowl is the rarest owl tome.

Thanks.

Usually I would hesitate before choosing who to give premium fodder, but Canas was the only character I wanted Atk/Spd Bond for, so I gave my spare meh IV Kinshinoka to him straight away.

I wouldn't fodder a limited-copy unit off for a powerful skill they have; if I want said skill, I'll wait until units with it get to be Focus on a banner.

I would consider a res refine on the tome and spd ploy, and maybe atk ploy or res ploy (the problem with res ploy being that if they have enough res to resist, they probably have him walled pretty hard)
