Help with my future Arena Core

Hello. I decided to start taking Arena a bit more seriously, so I've thinking about a core I want to use. I want suggestions of how to improve it, or if I should replace one of the members.
-Chrom is my red unit, and serves as both a fighter and a healer. He doesn't need a boon in HP as none of my members have more HP than him, so it is better to boost his Atk.
-Nowi is the only unit in this team that targets Res. I could give her Steady Breath but that means foddering a Bike, so Fury.
-Bike. For some reason I spent orbs when I started just to get merges for him, so I decided he could be my 5 star merge project. I have him at +3 and have 2 more waiting. He is the only one I'm not willing to change, except maybe Lewyn because I also like him and got today one +Spd -Def (but still I have to think about it).
Everything in the photo is still theorycrafting and can change.

If ur going for arena then it should be made up entirely of support units.

MCorrin/marth should be ur red. With the advent of Surtur, he should carry TA just to check him. Esp if ur bonus or any other unit cant deal with him.
Palla is surprisingly a good option as she comes with a TA weapon freeing up her a slot for duel skills.

Ike doesnt really have many support capabilities. But hes +5 so hell have to do untill the rest of ur units are +10.

Same with nowi. Shes not a support. There arent many blue support units tho that are ftp. I myself had to double up on red

Ye. Getting most of the kills with the bonus unit is what puts you over the edge on others.

And on ike: he can tank ranged units thanks to urvan. So he can provide a small suport role in that regard if you want him

I see... well I thought Arena worked different. I guess I have to rethink my team. Maybe something like Tactics could work? The Bonus unit could have more buffs that way and allows me to choose from a bigger character pool other than just infantry.
If there aren't any f2p support blues I could use a gray unit?

It really depends on how far you want to go in arena. If you're aiming for tier 21, you probably need a heavily optimized arena core that not only scores well (+10 units, high BST, expensive skills), but also supports well as you need to feed as many kills to your bonus unit as possible to maximize your score.
If you're fine with staying around tier 19/20, your team should be fine as long as you merge them high enough. Probably replace Chrom's +5 HP since it scores poorly. Assuming he get's merges, his HP should be high enough to still use Infantry Pulse.

You have no healers or tactics, so its automatically shit. Step it up, arena is now 100% based around supporting your bonus unit.

This team setup is what I find to be ideal. With some lucky arena rolls I can stay in 21 indefinitely.

That shows I'm still very noob on this game. The team looks nice (and expensive, but everything is if you're f2p) and I will look foward to it when building mine.

I consider fliers an absolute must for arena because of Guidance being able to warp them around.

Healers are to keep your units alive.

Titania is for triple tactics because she is THE BEST unit for tactics buffs. Robin is okay, but they only do +4, not +6.

Do you think it's a crazy idea to use a dagger with Breath of life as a pseudo-healer? I'm just throwing ideas since I don't know much and I would like a more offensive alternative to a healer.

You could always go with armour emblem, but that is so damn boring to me.
Your units really aren’t the best, due to scoring limits mean even if you win consistently you can’t reach t20, but you want to really make the best outta your units:
Chrom: Get him steady breath: yes, that means killing a brave Ike, but Chrom essentially gets +10 defense if you position him correctly.
B!Ike: I’d rather get a -spd nature since his weapon is so fucking good (yes, I hate that concept so much since it essentially is null follow up but you leave your B slot open). Also, try to get QR 3 on him and he could proc aether every combat, granted the enemy isn’t dead.
Nowi: I don’t really like her tbh, can’t give you a lot of advice on her.

One thing to note is that ALL your units are (comparatively) slow. Meaning ALL of them are to be used defensively. This means you’d sometimes get screwed over by horse units hard because you can’t kill them before they kill you, due to they superior range and doubling potential (Chrom gets destroyed by Rein for example). You may want someone more speedy, or just someone who is basically superior (I know it’s sad, but my merged Chrom gets outclassed 100% by my +1 zelgius) to bait. Oh and get someone who can tank magic hits, like F!Morgan or Lilina.
