Help me pick a use for atk/res solo! (kinda re-up)
Answers
I think Jeorge seems the strongest here out of the three, because I feel like he'd get the most use out of the overall boosting. Not sure about Draconic Aura, but his mixed bulk is already decent-ish and his weapon fits pretty well with the kit. I don't love Niles because he doesn't have a prf and has cripplingly low defense. Walhart is good, but harder to merge than Jeorge.

Walhart's weapon effect gives him +4 in every stat, doesn't it? If so, it would allow him to stack to around 45 Def/33 Res (before a Tactics or Horse Fortify), which can kind of allow him to take a hit or two from non Red Dragons, but I don't know it it it does too much for him unless you have said Res Tactic or Fortify. I can see it work, just not super independently.
Niles always dissappoints me. I've always wanted to sort of build one, and you never really know whether to emphasize on extra Atk (superboon) or Spd. The Atk superboon almost seems like common sense, but it's not like base 34 Spd gets you to many places when you're also that lacking in Atk. Even his Iceberg bombs don't justify him missing out on Desperation (not doubling/getting countered by DC). If you want to build him offensively, I have an idea with Fishy Bow and he mostly prefers something like Fury since it'll just synergise with Desperation, anyway.
I've never even theorycrafted on Jeorge. Barely know anything about him.

This Walhart's stats if he's procing the effects of his weapon, A and seal are:
Atk: 63
Spd:31
Def:49
Res:32
Without merges or buffs.
Making the most out of his skills makes him quite the stat monster.
The fear for Niles is that #1 He can't do anything with enemy archers and #2 his speed is just a little bit too low without speed boosting A skill.
The Iceberg bombs might just fall a bit short.
Jeorge's bow lowers the first tome damage by 30% plus 6 atk against 2 range foes. His attack will be 58 when baiting ranged enemies.

Oh did you see my Jeorge build? Also I think maybe Niles because i'd prefer Jeorge to function more like Innes would in that you stand him next to people to take hits from mages. I dont know much about Niles but I know I dont want the other 2 to have it. And Walhart's Res is too low for me to invest that much into it.

Well, like I've said above, that Walhart can use it to reach 32 res unmerged or buffed when baiting dragons.
And dragons are pretty common.
So the idea for this Jeorge is to be mixed phase, surviving most hits from the enemy when baiting a full hp, and going in offence mode after dropping down, right?
Kinda feel like the Parthia and brazen skills don't work too well together. And banking on the Luna for damage.. He won't proc it every fight and it won't do too much damage.
I just don't know about that build

No it's actually player phased only but you can use it to bait.
I used +Spd -HP (I think -Def or even Res is probably better as he can only take one hit) The idea is to use Parthia like how other units use Fury. You use it to take the first hit (because in all honesty its not that tanky of a bow and neither are his stats) and then go to town. So you'd find a ranged unit you'd survive and then on the counterattacks you hit Brazen/Luna to guarantee a kill. Other archers can't reliable get into this range but he's able to thanks to his first hit passive. And then with the brazen and desperation active you will be hitting Luna every other opponent you face from there on out. And the build doesn't cost any 5 star fodder to make.
Also I wouldnt rush to fodder the skill. I'd hang onto it for a quick moment

Yeah, that's the thing. If I had a spare atk/spd solo, I'd fodder it to Walhart in a heartbeat.
Speed on a tank is accually quite good, since you don't need something like guard and 1 hit less is less damage in general.
Well, atk/res solo is mostly meant for dragon fighting. Plus most of the time it's a deathblow and fierce stance in one. Just that is worth it.
But he could be able to take a hit from some slower mages.
Anyway. Jeorge does have my favor now.

Walmart and Niles is looks the most promising.
you can put mystic boost on niles, and he can go kill dargons and mages for you.
also, I'd prefer to give him +spd with brazen atk/res seal.
his firepower will come from his iceberg.
walmart, of course going to make him a melee conqueror.
dargons and blue green melee will have hard time fighting him.
well, exception for grima though.
while you can keep increasing jeorge res, he will actually cut less damage with his parthia.
I think you better to increase his spd so you can dual phase with him, and then only take 0.7 magic damage, then just kill them outright.
unlike sigurd, who you actually need to keep increasing his res, because he cant counter, jeorge can just kill the mage outright, so increasing his res is quite low priority for me vs increasing his killing power.
