Help me help... me?

Soo with this build she can tank a few hits and punish almost anything.. so my question with this build she has a lot of survivability.. would replacing fury for distance counter and slapping quick riposte/brash assault, maybe distance/close defence... make her anymore of a beast? Or should I save distance counter for a rainy day

One of your problems with Gwendolyn is that you refined her weapon for attack and not defense or resistance, 2 attack rarely matters.
If you're going to put Distant Counter, then refine it for res and use bonfire.
If you're making her for close counters, then put close def seal, as well as vantage, if you wanted because she's so tanky

Her attack is kinda lowest on my armored team, but she does make up for it with her special. I was kinda in a rush. With exchanging renewal 3 for vantage ? Wouldn't that take away from her survivability?

Any Lance Unit using DC but not Berkut's Lance is doing it wrong.

IF you want to make her you long term merged tank, then you should do the following:

Give her Ignis.
Reforge that Slaying Lance for Res or Def, as her damage dealer is really just her special. Or, give her Berkut's Lance and reforge that for Res.
Then give her Distant Counter. If using DC, you can give her the Quick Riposte skill and continue using the DD seal, OR you can keep renewal or Guard for the B skill and use the QR seal instead. The more merges you can get on this gal, the tankier she'll get. This is a great strategy in today's meta, which the release of new high BST units on the rise.

If you don't have the resources for all of this right now, however, your current set up is still pretty good. Just make sure to reforge that lance for Def or Res, if you want her to be a real tank. Swap or Reposition might help better, too, if you are using her in an armored team.

Give her Ignis or Bonfire, and I would really recommend Quick Riposte over Renewal. Also swap would probably be more beneficial since she is a tank, helping squishies back into safety after they've attacked. Refining her weapon for plus res or def would've been a better option overall. As for seals, only keep Distant Def if you plan on running DC, if not Close Def would be better. Hope this helps :^)
