Help with flier buffs!

Now that I've gotten both summer fliers I was wondering which buffs to use for a flier team?
My team is Legendary Robin, Camilla, Summer Camilla, Summer Tana.

I was thinking something like:
Robin - hone
Camilla - fortify
Summer Camilla - Goad
Summer Tana - Goad

Are you using blade tomes? If so, that setup will work out great. If not, Fortify should probably be on Tana or S!Camilla, since they're the most player-phase oriented of the four and won't make as much use of the buff as the others. Or just throw Goad on everyone, that works too.

Depends a bit on the roles and IV+builds. If you're using two blade tomes it might be best to have more than one hone/fortify, otherwise there will be one and only one formation (rotatable, but it must be a square with hone and fortify at opposite corners) in which both blade tomes will receive +24 buffs, and that probably won't be ideal for waiting for the enemy to come into range because one blade tome or the other might be a little too far in the back or else one of the other units will have to sit in the red zone unfavourably

That team is really mage heavy for Flier Emblem. One of your mages should have Fortify to use on F Grima & Camilla who are your melee people. And F Grima & Camilla should be carrying Goad Fliers to power up themselves and your mages for attacking, while the mages buff up the melee units defenses. If you can get some Shigure fodder, he has Ward Fliers now in the 4* pool.

I would suggest considering Michalis because he has awesome def and atk, and does well with Ignis/Bonfire, and can tank arrows.

Also, consider running some restorative skills on your filers because Fliers can have trouble maintaining their HP across multiple battles.

What you propose is very reasonable on regular weapons, but blade tomes create unusual buff demands for flier teams because the offensive units suddenly want fortify buffs.

L.Robin will be fine as the anti-archer here, and the mages are probably using desperation so renewal might not be necessary.

Yes, I agree with your points.

I did not put those into consideration because the original poster did not specify Blade Tome use. Also, getting a Blade Tome + version is quite expensive (20K feathers if promoting a 4*)

Additionally, the poster did not specify if their playstyle: Player Phase or Enemy Phase. So I proposed a strategy that could work for either and also remains viable against Panic and Dull Ranged.

Personally, I don't like the animation for Blade Tome and don't use them. Same goes for the Wolf and Raven tomes as well. I feel the Owl Tomes got a decent animation, so if they were to improve the others as well, then I might reconsider.

Sorry about that! I'm actually going with their prf tomes currently, as I already have blade tome builds and really want to try something new.
The team is kind of a mixed bag. Mostly player phase with Robin running a QR3 build.

Thank you for the tips by the way!

If everybody is using default weapons, try to let Camilla and L.Robin receive fortify and the tomes receive hone. I recommend goad on Camilla because it's more consistent with her weapon refine, so I think hone is fine on L.Robin especially if she doesnt have +spd (in which case she probably wants QR). One of the tomes can use fortify, and the other, goad. Depends on who has more trouble surviving a single counterattack and whether S.Tana switches to a desperation build.
