Hell Yes

After some mostly poor luck these last few banners, I just pulled a +Spd / - HP Elincia on my second red sniping run.

What are people's opinions on how to build her? I would keep her native Death Blow for +Atk but am inclined to try for a quad build with the +Spd IV and minimal penalty from Amiti. Presumably, this means L&D3. I'm sitting on the Hana fodder and feathers to do it; but does everyone think that's the best way to go?

I think Life and Death is a nice choice, gives her the pure offense she needs to dominate the field. If you want to keep her bulk because she's packin' decent res you can always opt for Swift Sparrow 2.

Because your Elincia will have 35 speed unbuffed after her weapon penalty, Fury and Hone Fliers can put her straight to 44 (45 with a seal) which doubles just about anything that somehow survives her first two hits. In addition, Fury would allow Elincea to better survive an enemy jab while trading blows and enter Desperation range wil less effort.

Drawback of Fury would be that flier teams have no healer to fix up that Fury damage so you risk losing your advantage over time.

Fury 3 + Desperation also works well if you want her to maintain her bulk and have self inflicting damage. Best used if you have flyer buffs to pass on.

Honestly? She's the strongest at both variants of Brave Swords. With an Atk boon and Deathblow, she does equal damage to Chrom in the same case with better speed to avoid being doubled and better mobility, and she's both a faster and harder hitting Quad sword than Hana on either boon of atk/spd. She's literally the ultimate 'brave sword' unit in the game right now.
