Hector - Merge or Fodder?

Just pulled another Hector and he's +Atk/-Spd.

Should I merge him with my original Hector (+Def/-Spd, gets HP/Def+1 from the merge) or give his DC to someone else? If so, any recommendations on who receives it?

What would be your options for inheriting DC?

I think my best is probably Karla, as she's lacks an A slot, has a lot of SP and is a Tier 1 character. But I'm just afraid that with her 23/22 defenses and 39 HP she won't be able to last for long.

Did you inherit a bunch of stuff onto your first Hector?

In either case, I would probably fodder. +def is already a very good IV, and probably my recommendation if you're going to get doubled as much as Hector will.

Yes, I did.

And now that I've looked into that link, I feel like I should keep him until a more suitable candidate shows up.

By the way, I know that merges can also contribute to Arena score, which is why I've been thinking about which decision to make for long.
