Hector conundrum

I was lucky enough to get two hectors in a single pull, then got another one from the short-haired ladies banner and one from the first hero fest. One of them is gone since Effie ate him.

To merge or not to merge, that is the question, 2 units with distant or merge hector together, the benefit is having a good hero for arena runs, but arena is not the sole main thing to aim for anymore since arena assault is also important to prepare for.

What would you do?

"personally" i tend to hold onto units that have 5 star exclusive skills (Distant Counter, Swift Sparrow, etc...) just because they are so hard to get and you never know when you'll acquire another unit down the line that could really use one of those skills. It really comes down to preference though, if arena is going to be your primary goal than merges will probably be more valuable to you but if its not than having those rare skills available to build with is never a bad thing.

Keep him to fodder. There are a lot of units that want it and only 1 5 star exclusive unit who gets it
