Heavy Blade Question

If a unit has Death Blow 3 and a Heavy Blade 3 Seal, do they work with each other? For example, if you have a Cherche with 46 Atk and she has Death Blow and Heavy Blade, does Cherche have 52 Atk which could help activating the skill, or will the 46 Atk only be counted? Thank you.
