Is Heavy Blade good on Zephiel?

I currently have Attack +3 on mine, and while it's good, it's not great. Since I have an extra Ike (whose IVs are lackluster: +Res, -Atk), I was finding candidates for Heavy Blade, and Zephiel was one option that came to mind. Opinions?

Atk+3 is the third best A skill for Zephiel next to Fury & Distant Counter IMO.

Look at some of your Tome users as potential candidates...

Armored units really are looking for distant counter to make up for poor mobility. Heavy blade is ok, but zephiel's attack isn't really that high due to a lack of IVs. The threshold I recommend for equipping heavy blade in my experience is 54 ATK (The ATK of my +ATK Ike) because you're losing out on an A skill that would normally boost stats like attack. As a concrete example, a +ATK Ike will still proc heavy blade against a neutral ATK Lucina or Ryoma with fury 3.

Honestly ? Why not :) Given his high atk he'll be able to do good use of it and with bonfire he'll kill a lot of things.
I think Distant Counter would be even better but you probably don't have a hector to spare ^^
