Hawkeye Question

I recently got a Hawkeye from the Spring Rerun Banner, he's +Atk -HP. Should I build him similar to Cherche and Frederick?

I would refine his Killing Axe into a Slaying Axe+ (+RES).
He makes a decent mixed defense Tank for Arena Assault (with minimal investments).

Here is a screencap of my recent battle in Arena Assault using him to curb stomp Nowi.
