Have you ever went against your better judgement?

I was against summoning for Ophelia because of silas,today I cracked lol(she was my favorite mage in fates man damn),I proceed to use my free summon and I got b lucina(merged) now I know you think that's good,but wait this is where it goes spiraling.Whenever I get a 5* on a free summon on a banner that have units I want it always ends up shitty for me,(as if I used up what luck I would have had)except for the summer banner with tana.Fast foward 80 orbs later there is this 3 blue and 2 colorless circle.I pulled odin(oh is this a sign) and 2
f-cking silas...........(had the nerve to have perfect ivs😡),I scrounged up some orbs to try again 50 +orbs later linde(I have her and merging don't mean anything for me).......with my orbs depleted,rate reset and literally 5 orbs left.At the bottom of the banner now.

I spent that 5 orbs (oh well I tried)and I finally pull her(-atk+hp) at this point I didn't care I wasn't rolling for her again(maybe when she comes back sometime in the future).

I know the amount of 5* I got with the amount of orbs I spent is definitely good,next time I won't be tempted to summon on color sharing banner unless I want both units(of course I already know that from my experience with leif's initial banner,but sometimes you go against your better judgement in favor of things you want).

Im skipping all banners the rest of the month now 😂.

Using my free summon of the Nohrian Dusk banner on day one. Which led me to the -Spe +Res Flora I am now in love with.

All the time.
That's how I've got a massive collection of heroes, but very few highly merged ones (only two above +5, no +10, been a day one player)

Got lucky on this banner, but it stilll means my orb collection isn't high. It never was

I'm sure everybody has at some point, whether they be blowing all their orbs on a banner, or just spending a few extra for a random yolo. Now the way I see it, is that any good IVed exclusive 5* is worthwhile, even if it's a pitybreak. Sometimes you just gotta scratch that summoning itch.

I used 300 orbs on the first hero fest and 200 on the second hero fest and got nothing on either. I have never gotten a 5 star on a free summon, and because of it I use up whatever orbs I have, like 45 orbs on the brave heroes banner to get nothing but two circles full of 3 stars. Also, I foddered off my only Leo for QR3 and my B Lucina for Aether before getting 3 more copies of her with a perfect iv. Note to self and others, save up orbs.

Yep, I had that a ton of times.
Recent one is dancers banner with Xander, Micaiah, Elincia and Ryoma. I spend a lot there to get Xander, but got Elincia with semi optimal ivs, it took me a bit more obrs to get Xander, so much for banner i never intended to pull from.
Now current FE4 banner with Silvia, Lewyn and Quan, I planned to skip but I changed my mind and got Lewyn, unit I pulled for within 30 orbs or more.
Most of the times I see LB I'm not satisfied with unit choice but I tend to pull those for one unit.
