Got a pity breaker Ike today and seeing that he has heavy blade made me kind of wonder, if there are any units, that could use it as an A-slot instead of a sacred seal. I'm honestly clueless and the fact that you can put fury or whatever on a unit and give it HB as a seal kind of kills the actual HB A slot.
Does any hero come to your mind, who could use it? The only thing that comes to my mind are fliers/cavaliers who can shrug off the wasted A skill thanks to emblem buffs.
Eldigan with DC and bonfire, but i guess you see a problem here? HB is great as seal for him, so he always retailates with +20 extra dmg.(-1 from sword, and then when taking first hit its charged).
Many slaying units with high res/def can use it (and high enough atk), but the problem is, only as a seal (imo).
Then there is also QP Black Knight, since his sword has DC build in, and Black Luna with QP is 2 turn. He may work.
I remember a cordelia set back before it was a sacred seal, that ran Brave Lance, galeforce heavy blade and QP, since she did so much damage and could be danced she destroyed and almost guaranteed a galeforce proc, though I think firesweep and SS are better now, it was still a fun set. I'm sure it's useful on something like WTReinhardt
There is this Cordelia build with firesweep lance + heavy blade + QP. It almost guaranteed a galeforce proc without taking any damage for the 1st initiation because she still has good enough atk and spd 50/35 without boon or buffs. Other than that, it's better to be used in seal slot.
