Got pity broken by a +Atk Hardin on the old bridal banner, which can replace my original +Hp/-Def one. I'm thinking that foddering off one of his skills would be a better pick than simply merging, but I'm unsure as to which one I should do. In the case of Bold Fighter, here are my armored units:
Arden, Zephiel, BK, Christmas Tharja, Eliwood (LA), Effie, Lyn (LA), Hector, Hector (LA), Amelia, and Christmas Lissa (although she comes with Bold fighter so that's a moot point).
I know this question isn't real specific but I'm just looking for some guidance on what to do. Not sure how useful Brazen Def/Res could be on some other units so I'd like to also hear a case made for that skill.
Definitely don't merge for now, but realistically you shouldn't just give units rare skills like bold fighter unless you use them alot. If you have an armored merge project, then that's probably your best option. Otherwise, save the bold fighter for the future for when you start merging an armored unit or maybe you get a +atk Grima and can't hold out lol
It's not really that good on other units ironically since it's best on DC units with good defense and res. Hardin is one of the only units that does that well (aside from dragons who prefer steady/warding breath), so there's not really much of a point of giving someone else brazen def/res. Also we have M!Kana for that.
Unless you have intentions to +10 a character like Hardin you’re better off foddering him for Bold Fighter. In no way should you sack him for brazen def/res, we have male kana for that and even if we didn’t bold fighter >>>>>>
I would give it to Effie and work on making her plus ten. If you have a spare Hector giver her dc and give her a res refined berkuts lance.
