Halloween Jakob weapon

I recently pulled Jakob on the legendary banner, (+HP -spd) and I'm wondering what weapon I should go with. I'm not too inclined into using brave bow because I don't have bold fighter fodder and he isn't +atk either, so I was thinking maybe guard bow, and giving him Close Counter from the free Takumi were getting.

H!Jakob seems to be the most popular for giving Close Counter to from the free Takumi. Even without it, Distant Defense 9 Jakob is absolutely amazing as a mage tank (and countering bow/dagger units).

I have a +Res-Def Brave Bow Jakob, and he's fine.
But if you insist, go Guard Bow or Slaying Bow

The damage he'd take, especially if a dagger unit hits him with some chip damage? Oh my goodness.

Jaffar with Poison Strike 6, or 27 damge +36...

+36? I think your math is a little off there. 27 from Jaffar's dagger/double P.Strike Combo, +6 from each fury for a total of 18 added. 27+18 is 45.
