Halloween Jakob triple distant defense?

From what I understand, guard bow has distant defense built into it. So add DD for the A slot and seal then you’ll get +18 total def and res when attacked. At that point you probably wouldn’t want weary fighter so that frees up the B slot. I’m thinking quick riposte, with that set he shouldn’t worry too much about taking damage. Any thoughts?

Also he’d be paired with Halloween Henry who has armor march.

Omg yes

It's a pretty good set if you want to specialize in distant attacks. You could also go the route of adding the Close Defense seal and Close Counter to give him superb defense all around.

Haven’t pulled a takumi yet so that’s out of the question for me haha. I happened to get a 2nd celica tho.

Im working on that now lol, hella expensive SP-wise, between distant defense, quick riposte and guard bow its around 2,400
SP, I have the materials but need the SP sadly.

The guard bow bug is avoided by evolving the weapon after inheriting it right?

Correct. Inherit it as the Assassin bow first, then upgrade.

Faye is a 2/5 unit.

With that kind of defense, he'll probably gain health after being attacked before losing it.

I agree with the Quick Riposte but I think I'd give him the Atk Smoke seal over going triple DD. Especially if you have units running Ward Armor, it seems like overkill.
