Guard Bow Refine help

I have a +Def -HP Faye and I am building up a Guard Bow build for her.

Obviously, Def and Res refines would be suitable for Guard Bow, but which refine should I go for?

On a guard Bow set you should usually go the lower of the 2 to balance out your stats, though you will run into mages more often.

Res refine might be preferable if you are planning on running ploys.
