Growths in Heroes?

A quick explanation of growths: Growths are the chances that you will gain a point in a certain stat when you level up. For example: in Path Of Radiance, Ike has a 50% Strength growth, meaning that he has a 50% to gain a point in Strength upon leveling up.

I've always wondered this... When one of your units get a level up, the boosts are random, just like in normal FE. If that's the case, how do we know what the definitive base stats of a unit are? I've seen multiple cases of two Level 40 units of the same rarity and IV's but with slightly different stats.

So, do growths exist in Heroes?

While it seems there is no set logic to the numbers you get with each level up, the end results are always the same as long as they have the same IVs and same stars.

When i started playing a couple months ago i began to notice the same thing asking my self "why is there unit faster then mine if we have the same character with other stats being the same here a there"then i saw on gamepress there are ivs instead of growth rates.
