Grima: What if I...?
Alright, I must be the world's luckiest minnow. I have successfully +10'd my Grima with at least 6 of those coming from the free pull or free orbs. This is how I have him built at the moment. But I had a thought.
What if, instead of Fortress A and Armored S (since it can't be upgraded), I give him Fury A and Fortess S (or wait for Fury S), maybe replacing his Active with Aether for self-sustain?
How's that sound? Cancerous?
Also, does Heavy Blade’s CD stack with Vengeful Fighter?

I'm aware, and I don't care. I already have Ignis Effie and Glacies Sheena in my Armor team, and I find it boring to repeat the same abilities over and over and over. I like variation. And with Dragon Fang, if I add an ATK+3 Seal, or Fury, that's an activation for a total of 90 ATK, which still hits damn hard.
That said, part of the question was “[...]replacing his Active with Aether for self-sustain?”

It’s not nearly that much of a problem. Say, for example, my Grima initiates a neutral Sheena. With her 33 RES and his 57 ATK, she takes 24 damage base. With Ignis’ activation, that would be closer to 55 (55.2, actually, but I don’t know how it rounds). With Dragon Fang, it hits for around 52.5, however it rounds. A difference of about 3 damage, with a guaranteed double on counter, for a total of ~79 (Ignis) against ~76 if he's defending.
It doesn’t matter which I use, the difference in damage at that point is negligible. Of course, that’s before matchups.
However, since nobody answered my question, I ended up giving him Aether for the damage and self-heal, hitting for only ~40 bonus, ~64 total, but heals for ~32 per activation in the same circumstances. Now THAT is a noticeable difference in damage, but the sustain makes up for it in my eyes, and is much more Vengeful-friendly.
(Note: I’m crunching these numbers in my head. If my math is off, let me know.)
