Grima Build Help

Ok so I have a Grima that I want to build into my team, but I don’t know what to put as his A slot. My team is SM!Eirika (40+1 -HP/+Atk, Summoner Support), B!Lyn (40, Neutral), VL!Ike (40, +Spd/-HP) and Grima (40+1, -Res/+Def). As you may see, my team has a massive weakness to Micaiah, due to her wonderful little Thani countering everything. So, should I give Grima Svalinn Shield to counter her, stick with Earth Boost 3, or kill my only Fjorm for Atk Def Bond 3? Thanks guys

I'm assuming that Fjorm is the free unit. Don't do it. She comes in handy in a lot of game modes and is great as an arena bonus unit. If you think you'll have problems with Micaiah, the only way to do it is if you initiate on her. She has very low Def so hit her with any of your physical unit like V!Ike followed by B!Lyn if she doesn't fall. Grima can use Svalinn if you want him to and if you think his stats are high enough that he doesn't need the extra stats. Still he would make great use of DD3 seal.

I currently use Grima with the DD3 Seal to help with his super bane, I just normally have cases where she takes Grima below the Vengeful Fighter threshold, but I’ve never really tried using Ike to initiate first. And so you’re also saying I should keep Earth Boost 3 for Grima?

honestly the absolute best option for Grima is a breath skill/ Close or Distant Def. I would definetly go with svalinn shield for that team comp since it removes one of grimas weaknesses making him an even better tank, and it allows a reliable check to micaiah (not wingsword Caeda though, but thats what lyn is for)

Hmmmmm a tough one and i can see why, but which lyn are you using, Bow Lyn or Blue Tome Lyn? If your worried about that weakness, svalinn shield is ok to use for grima
