Hey
pulled my first Nino (3* +HP -ATK) and now there are different ways to go.
a) Build nino to 5* but her IV seems meh and not my favorite hero.
b) Build 5* Nino for inheritance. Could give her Gronnblade+ then to:
b1) Merric (5*, +Atk, -Res max level and already with inherited skills)
b2) Spring Camilla (5*, unsure IV, vanilla)

Which way to go? :)

(btw also leveling a Cecilia for the 5 orbs quests but dont think she can be a proper alternative to the heroes above)

Don't build that Nino, that IV is horrible.
I don't think you should spend that awesome weapon (and 22,000 feathers) on Merric, the others you mentioned are better. I think Merric has a niche to battle the common flier emblem teams, so keep him as he is.
Level Camilla to lvl 40 to check her IV. If it's good, you can give her Gronnblade+ and eventually build a flier emblem team. She's good with any buffing allies though. If your Cecilia's IV is good, you can build her too, but it'll be harder since you need to upgrade her aside of Nino.

I think Merric is quite underestimated. switched to Minerva as a green unit for now but Merric was really tanky and still powerful while his weapon was rather useless when you own a strong archer like Takumi.

But Merric could double a lot of units and I have a supporting Eirika. Therefore I thought of boosting him even further might be useful.

Thanks :) will wait for more answers and slowly start building the Nino regardless whom will get her weapon. Also wont decide until I know my Spring Camilas IV

Spring Camilla likes that weapon very much. That said, she still only really shines as a Takumi Killer (for which there is a better weapon.)

You're better off just not spending 22k feathers to give up an incredibly overpowered weapon on a unit with average offensive stats. Nino is a glass cannon which makes her more suited to use this. Merric is often underestimated but I think he's a fine unit and since his Excalibur tome grants effective damage against fliers, it means you don't have to give up a slot for an archer.

Don't raise that Nino though, -ATK for more HP when her HP stat is very low is not a great trade off.
