The green dragon

Got a bunch of Fae in a recent big orb purchase. None of them have ideal IVs, but I was curious which would be best cause I'm hoping to make Dragon Emblem team someday.

+hp/-Atk
+spd/-HP
+res/-Def
+res/-Atk
Full Neutral.

Either way, I plan to deck her out with Fury, Renewal, and(should I ever get lucky enough to get a few more ninian) Fortify Dragons, as well as Iceberg/Glacies.

Your +Res -Def is a good option, but I'd go for the +Spd -Hp.

if you really need HP you can give her an HP seal, or a success Assault A.

Neutral is not bad either.

Speed helps her.
Res also (since she is a magical tank that should definitely use a res special).
She shouldn't have an atk bane, since hers is not that strong to start with.

I've been pretty happy with mine so far :)
She terminates Reinhart, Nowi, Linde ... And does well enough against most physical blues.

Also, I'd recommend quick riposte instead of Renewal. Unless you go with the +Spd maybe ... But she still is a bit too slow to perform double attacks without quick riposte (or a breaker skill, though I didn't see many breakers on her).

+res -def is on of her best IVs. Her main focus is to mage bait blues and some greens. If you have lightning breath+ fodder, then you're good to go.

I’d go +Res/-Def and make her a specialised mage / blue mage tank.

However, Fae is a lot like Brave Ike in how she has very flexible IVs depending on what you need her for, and with the right team support and build your +Spd/-HP might be a really good option. With +Spd, Fury, and Hone, she reaches 38 speed and potentially 39 with Speed +1, allowing her to prevent a lot of doubles and even double slower enemies with her magical attacks.

I personally use a +Def/-HP Fae with TA!QR and she walls blues like no tomorrow.

The only IVs that aren’t great on her are -Atk or +HP IMO.

Hehe. Wish I'd gotten a +def. I'm also waiting to see what Sacred Coins are gonna do. If it is what many many many people(myself included) are hoping and it lets us reroll or otherwise modify boon/bane, then I'll go from there. I'm hanging on to all my heroes til then. Be real nice to change the IVs on my Nowi, my Cordelia, my Ryoma(he got -atk for crying out loud!) and my Tana(-SPD!)

+spd -hp would make her a better all-arounder, but on a dragon team, I'd definitely go with +res -def, as you'd really want to optimize her capabilities as a magic check. The only way I'd go for +spd -hp would be if you didn't want to give her lightning breath for some reason, but you really should.

Even with -def, with Fury, Fae can still tank a +atk death blow brave lance Effie (as long as she doesn't have her special), and kill her on the next turn. (She winds up with 1 hp, but she can do it.) On the other hand, on a dragon team, you should really have either a Nowi or a Corrin as well, and they have much higher defense and might be better choices for that (though they may need their specials to kill her). They will probably also be better counters to red mages thanks to color advantage, although thanks to their meh resistance it would be better to get the drop on them. If Nowi/Corrin can attack first, get danced by Ninian, and attack again, Tharja and Celica should go down easy.

Would you recommend omitting a Red Dragon entirely then? I'm planning for this to be an Arena team, so if I take Ninian in addition to Fae and Nowi/Corrin, I gotta leave the 4th spot open for Bonus Hero

Honestly, in the current meta, probably. I've never made a dragon team myself so this is all theoretical, but generally speaking, a high-def blue, a high-res green, and a dancer is going to serve you better in the arena right now than having a red. (That said, if you've got a Tiki you should feel free to work on building her as well, since metas change.)

(P.S. Fae can totally kill Hector as long as Hector attacks first. I know this from experience.)

I'll give it a shot. I've never had good luck with Nowi. Best I've gotten is +def/-Res(best out of the only 2 I've gotten. The other was -Spd, and her Lightning Breath passed to someone else already)
My best Corrin is +spd/-HP

Your Nowi luck sounds very similar to mine lol. Too bad, because I know someone who has a +spd Nowi and she's an absolute monster. I'm guessing your Nowi is still going to be the better choice because her attack is vastly superior to Corrin's, although it does pain me to tell you not to use Corrin and her 37 speed. I'm not as comfortable with the blue dragons as I am with Fae, though, so I would definitely recommend you seek out someone who has more experience with them than me.

I like the +spd -hp. THe hp bane can be fixed with an hp seal, and the speed boost combined wit fury allows her to avoid a ton of followups
