Great Units, Still Struggling in Arena

I've been running pretty standard team comps in the arena, usually something like Ryoma, Julia, Azura, and Takumi (seems to cover most bases). My team seems pretty good but I get shut down in arena more than I want. With all of the good units I have I'm sure I could pull together a team that would always win. Wondering if you guys have had overwhelming success with a certain team comp.

What may seem to be meta, is not usually the best option. This is my base team, and it actually works fantastic. It's both a great defense team and a great offensive team, scoring me over 20 defenses this season so far.
For Arena however, i use Hinoka, Cordelia, and S Camilla, as a red is not needed since boosted Camilla can OHKO nearly any Hector. The last unit is a bonus unit to help me in rankings.
So far, i've had little to no trouble doing flawless advanced arena runs, and i'm also in the highest tier so far.

I've wanted to do a Flier Emblem team. But I lack a Spring Camilla. It's a shame she is the only flying mage in the game currently.

Well, what are your IVs and builds? That stuff matters. Also, how you play your team is just as important. I lose one to three matches in a season if I get match ups that just really work against my team, but most of the time I achieve a deathless run in a season.

I run Kagero, Effie, Sheena, and Olivia on my Defense Team and usually gets a handful of victories with them. I also use those same units on my Offensive Team minus Sheena (she is primarily Effie support) who is replaced with a Bonus Hero for that season.

I managed a deathless run this season using Cecilia as my bonus, who is only level 34 and a three star. Sorry I can't be more help than that.

I'm happy to change my builds around all day long. I can't always pick my IVs but I usually have +SPD or ATK and -DEF or RES on the units I keep.
I feel like i have so many 5 stars that I can't make a good decision on units to use.

Odd, that is a good team. Perhaps it's your inheritance or IV rolls.

It wasn't until I added proper escape support skills like reposition and drawback on my non dancer that I was able to go deathless.

I think you lack an glass cannon unit(Klein, Kagero, Nino, Reinhart or any range unit with wide range of 1TKO potential), especially when you have Azura. Switch either Takumi or Julia out. As much as I like both of these character, they are hard to use in the current high tier arena meta.

This is a pretty good defense team since it's all just composed of power units. Keep this in your first team slot. In your second team slot I want you to take a look at your 4-5 Star units, use the calculator, and see which ones have the best potential for achieving high ORKO rates. Preferably, these units should be ranged units. You're gonna be looking for Blade tomes and Brave weapons mainly. People like Nino, Tharja, Klein, and Reinhardt. Train up one of these units.

Your main problem is that you just threw a bunch of power units into one team and they don't synergize well enough. That, or you need to buff up on your tactics and positioning.

Also, give Julia G Tomebreaker 3. She'll beat opposing Julia's and checks Nino. It's great to have on arena defense.
