Grand Hero Battle suggestions

Given how we're getting revivals of previous GHBs, I was thinking of suggesting who would make great units to add for us to use. Looking into the many characters Fire Emblem has, I think we can make use of the Rudolf-archetypes since we got two of them in Zephiel and Arvis. My suggestions are: Ashnard: Mad King of Daein and Rudolf: Emperor of Rigel.

Ashnard will be a flying sword unit with stats built for tanking and an uninheritable personal B-skill called Mad King's Pact, which REVERSES the weapon triangle and is a callback to the Reaver weapons from the GBA games. He will also come with the ever coveted Hone Fliers C-skill since the only known units to have them are the 5-stars Hinoka and Halloween Nowi and his Assist skill is Harsh Command. His weapon, Gurgurant, has Renewal 2 built into it just like the Falchion to reflect how he has Renewal in his home game.

For Rudolf, he will be an armored lance unit since(to me) he looked awesome fighting against Alm in Celica's dream. Much like Ashnard he will have a personal B-skill called Rigel's Presence which functions like the Firesweep effect where counterattacks are unavailable to both sides, a reference to when you face him with Alm in both Gaiden and Echoes, and Guard 2's effect of stopping specials from charging. He will have Sturdy Blow as his A-skill and Special is Pavise to give him even more of a tank presence. His weapon is Emperor's Lance+, which has Death Blow 3 built into it like Durandal and can be inherited since you can actually get multiple copies of said lance in Echoes.

I got two more suggestions, but they will most likely be lambasted. Therefore, I'll save them for another time.

Two mage units in Nergal and Lyon sound good too, but make them respectively green and blue to compliment Arvis' red.

The other two units from the Rudolf-archetype are Garon and Walhart, both ax-units and the ones I said would probably be hated on. Garon is the very definition of tank(beating out Hector) whereas Walhart is a slower version of Camus with better defenses on both ends. Both can also stand to get character development; Garon being pulled from when he was the loving father of the Nohrian royals, Walhart actually admitting that his methods trample on the ideals Alm and Celica worked towards.

In terms of fighting style, both have Distant Counter weapons(Garon is pretty much armored Dorcas and therefore still inferior to Hector lol) and a personal B-skill of their own.

Garon's B-skill is called Nohr's Wrath, where Garon gains a buff for every unit lost; if he's the only unit out a team of four he gets +4 in all stats. A "high risk, high reward" unit of sorts.

Walhart gets his signature ability, Conquest, which negates bonuses and inflicts Cooldown -2 on those who attack him. Because Conquest will have a built-in Grani's Shield, this frees up the A-slot.

What do you think?

I think Rudolf would more likely be a lance cavalier, since that was what he actually was in Echoes outside of cutscenes. I imagine his Emperor Lance would be something like this:

Mt: 16 (Prf weapon)
Rng: 1
If unit is attacked, unit gains special cooldown count +1.

In Echoes, the Emperor Lance taught a unit the Leonine Poise skill. When activated, this skill increased crit chances by 50%, but forced the unit to strike second. I implemented that skill into the Emperor Lance by an effect similar to Steady Breath.

While understandable, we already got too many cavalry units that it's swarming everywhere. This is the reason why I made Rudolf an armored unit so that there is some balance and viability for an armor team.

I've never done any weapon refining for Wo Dao+(not having Karel or any other users of the weapon), but I can get behind on that ability for the Emperor's Lance.

Gunter is the last of the ax cavaliers.

Walhart would make for a good GHB, being a slower yet more sturdy version of Camus thanks to his signature Wolf Berg ax and personal skill Conquest, which is Grani's Shield combined with Guard 2.
