Grand Hero Battle Suggestion: Grima

Name: Grima
Title: Fell Dragon
Unit Type: Red | Breath | Infantry

Character Description: A baleful dragon who seeks to plunge the world into darkness. He is mysteriously tied to Robin. Appears in Fire Emblem: Awakening.

5* Lvl 40 Stats: 45 HP | 36 Atk | 24 Spd | 33 Def | 33 Res
BST: 167

5* Weapon: Expiration (16 Mt. If unit initiates attack, foes within 2 spaces of target take 10 damage after combat. If foe's Range = 2, damage calculated using the lower of foe's Def or Res.)
Special: Ignis

A Skill: Close Def 3
B Skill: Rightful God (Grants Special cooldown charge +1 per attack. Skill cannot be inherited)

Hailing as the final boss from Awakening, as well as a secret boss in Shadows of Valentia, Grima makes an appearance in Fire Emblem: Heroes with his signature matching Def/Res stat and Rightful God, a skill that grants a special charge whenever he attacks or is attacked.

Another option could be a Dragonskin skill that mimics Crusader's Ward, but I thought Close Def worked well enough and the opportunity to give Grima something truly fearsome was just too good to pass up.

The map would probably be another reinforcements-type map, due to the reinforcements that arrive periodically in the final fight against him. Other than that, imagine any various horrors that Intsys might throw at us for this map.

Nice. Looks powerful, and fun. If we ever got him, we'd have to get Naga, too. Maybe a Blue Dragon. But other than that, I have no idea what she'd actually have

Report

I'm actually not sure we'd ever get Naga. Maybe Divine Tiki from the DLC, but since Naga never makes an appearance in-game as a playable unit OR boss, it's less likely. We're more likely to see Duma, Medeus, and Ashera before we see Naga or Mila, since those three were final bosses in their respective games.

All that aside, I'd be cool to see sort of a Legendary Light Breath on Naga. Maybe it gives 10 health to all allies within two spaces?

Report

True, but I feel like Grima would be more likely to show up, since most of the GHBs are antagonists and Naga isn't popular enough to win a CYL. With the GHBs, Grima stands a better chance of being picked out of the hordes of FE characters than Naga does.

Report

Wouldn't Grima be flying though? He would also take up a lot mire than one space, is this a reference to Grima possessed robin?

Report

Technically, yes, Grima as a dragon would be a flying unit, but I feel like having possessed Robin as Grima with a stone that turned him into (a miniature) Grima would be more feasible than having a giant six-winged demon that takes up half the map.

This Grima would be the first top tier GHB unit since the game was released. Absolutely OP.

Report

He still bears a weakness to Falchions and Naga tomes, as well as having infantry weakness to weapons like the Poison Dagger. Reinhardt could make quick work of him too.

So I wouldn't say he's OP. Powerful for sure, but every enemy has a weakness.
