Good Hector?

I did a Yolo summon on the new mini tempest trial and got a Hector with a +atk -def. I know the atk boon is good but will a def bane hinder him?

Unless you try to tank red units, it should not matter. No phyical attack on green is high enough to 1 shot him do doubles are your concern. With no seals or buffs, it takes 2 axe attacks (or colorless) a power of 60 each to kill Hector with 2 attacks when he has a defense bane.

You're pretty much in the clear but I recommend Vantage, Threaten Def, and Sol. It's what I use and makes him a self sustained tank killer.

Or, to take advantage of his extreme attack, go Dragon Fang. You can even beat some squishy reds with that skill.

That IV is his second best IV, the first one being +spd - def but +attk is also good. Gratz! The def bane doesn't hurt him at all it ONLY affect him against RED units but I mean why put Hector in front of a red unit in the first place. His best bane is -def, then - hp then -res.
