I've decided it's time to give my raiding parties a complete overhaul, rebuild from ground zero, so I'm revealing all five parties that I used up to this point. Some of you might draw some ideas on how to build your own parties. I'm currently at 6300 lift (lost 100 so far this season) and I've lost four units in my entire AR career: one early on before I knew that losing units reduces lift gained, one on a miscalculation, one when I was dead tired but the season was ending in a matter of minutes and I didn't need all 100 lift to make the next tier, and one when I got tricked by Reinhardt rallying instead of attacking and then getting danced and killing Micaiah all the way on the other side of the map. (Still a little mad about that one because these horse teams aren't a good defensive strategy but they're still hard to deal with.)
-------------
Team 1: designed to be general. Worked very well up until last week, when it definitely felt pushed to its limits.
No ally supports.
- Nowi+5 summoner supported, +spd -res (definitely prefer -HP. -res is the worst when there are so many mage cavaliers around. Just need to pull that IV.) Lightning breath+spd, reposition, aether, steady breath, QR, buff varying on bonus unit and what bonus unit offers, distant def. Panic ploy might be a nicer C-skill, but I'm hesitant to fodder Garon or spend 20k on a Valter.
- B.Celica neutral, base kit with rally def/res and QP seal and blunted to death blow 2 to avoid OHKO on mages I don't want to OHKO (because it would prevent galeforce from activating). If I had an infantry pulse, flashing blade would be a safer option, and the positioning requirement on Royal Sword does cause issues. Atk tactic was ideally replaced, but I originally picked her with the idea to fodder.
- Lewyn +HP -res (NB +HP is surprisingly good. Puts him at 41, which means lv1 panic manors and tactic rooms don't affect him) base kit, swap, flashing blade (QP would be as good but it's taken)
- Y.Azura: base kit, WoM (important for grabbing aether pots), hone atk 3, draconic aura (only because I grabbed it off the same F.Corrin from which I got hone atk 3), panic ploy
--------------
Team 2: fliers. Sometimes used, especially on maps like lava floes, to maneuver around terrain. Hasn't seen much use.
F.Grima +spd -res base kit except switched bonfire for moonbow; reposition, goad fliers, flier formation 2 seal. No B-skill because I've been stingy with fodder.
Camilla +res -def (pulled as a 5* - I intend to change the IVs later). Unrefined prf, reposition, moonbow, darting blow, drag back, goad fliers, drive atk 2. Ally supported to WF Hinoka
WF Hinoka +res -def: base kit, atk+2 seal. No assist.
Y.Azura: same build - we can't put two different builds on the same unit when going raiding.
----------------
Team 3: Reinhardt+B.Lyn+tank. Has won me somewhere around 40% of my matches.
Reinhardt +def -spd: the usual. prf, draw back, moonbow, death blow 3, lancebreaker, hone cavalry, atk+1 seal (because B.Celica is using QP)
B.Lyn +atk -res: Mulagir, draw back, draconic aura, swift sparrow, Sacae's blessing, fortify res, hone spd 2 seal. The latter two are for the other Lyn.
LA Lyn +def -atk: blue gift+res, ardent sacrifice (swap would be much better but I haven't given it to her), glacies, spd+3 (because Aversa messes with people who use bond skills), guard 3, atk ploy 1 (should be 3 but I made a really stupid mistake), brazen atk/res 3 seal. Note that she gets up to 48 res with both the hone and the brazen and ignores Veronica's buff if the healer gets danced, so she still tanks with 44 res after the debuff, and she still has 35 spd which generally means Veronica can't double because the self-buff on spd also gets ignored. Blue gift is actually really strong.
Y.Azura: same build.
**This team is quite key. The horses need someone who is able to bait. During opening season I used Fjorm because she was a bonus unit; now that she's no longer a bonus unit and Y.Azura generally doesn't survive if Veronica gets danced and hits again, I introduced LA Lyn.
--------------
Team 4: anti-cancer emblem. This team has hit the field maybe once in my last 15-20 matches.
Micaiah +def -spd: prf, sacrifice, glacies, death blow 3, desperation 2 (because it's not much good unless BA is active anyways so I saved a Shanna), drive atk, brash assault 1 seal. I might be better to keep her native A-skill, but death blow guarantees me a kill on Veronica even if Veronica gets the buff+debuff first.
H.Henry +def -atk: Gronnraven+, swap, glimmer, TA, bowbreaker, armour march (atk ploy would be better but I don't want to spare the fodder), res ploy 1 seal (to help the glimmer)
Y.Azura: same build as above
B.Celica: same build as above.
----------------
Team 5: designed to be able to take on enemy phase some of the armour/dragon teams I saw below 5000 lift, and then I later adjusted it.
L.Ephraim (used to be Nephenee) +HP -def: Flame Siegmund, swap, galeforce, life and death 2 (NB deliberate - the extra spd can help against wary fighters, and cutting his def helps me WoM in to dance him), escape route 3, fortify def 3 (could be any other buff), heavy blade seal
Bartre (some weird IV, no +atk or +spd. Pulled him off one of those skill rerun banners over the summer). Slaying hammer+spd, smite (good to help L.Ephraim), luna, fury, axebreaker, (any buff), (forget what seal. Might be threaten def 1. Not hugely important.)
M.Marth: unrefined Falchion, reciprocal aid, moonbow, fury 2, renewal 3, no C-skill, atk+1 seal.
Y.Azura: same as above
I've kept his old weapon because I don't want to spend dew on what is basically an AA check. The spd refine is to crack wary fighter and Thunder Armads. If I'm not mistaken, with hone atk support he will one-round Surtr.
