Give W!Lissa to B!Ephraim?

Hi everyone,

I just managed to pull a B!Ephraim (+Atk/-Res) and want to add him to my armor emblem team (B!Hector, Black Knight, LA!Lyn). However I can’t figure out what to do for his A skill slot. Ideally I’d give him Distant Counter, but my only distant counter I have was given to my W!Lissa on my first armor team long ago (which I’ve since stopped using).

The reason I’m hesitant to do so is even though I no longer use Lissa much, I’ve invested a lot into her. She has Aether, Distant Counter, Bold Fighter, and Def Ploy (I stupidly gave her an Arvis for this long ago). While B!Ephraim is someone I’d likely get a lot of use out of, I don’t want to sacrifice a unit who has so much investment in them, even if I never use them anymore.

So should I sacrifice Lissa to Ephraim? He’d get Aether and DC out of it, but I’d lose a bold fighter character, as well as the Def Ploy I invested into her. Or do you have any other A skill suggestions to replace DC? (He does have -Res so Dc may be less useful)

He can also use Double Close Def to become a really good melee tank.

I find Special Fighter, along with Breath skills, aren't always optimal for hard hitting characters as they always trigger on the second attack on Enemy Phase when you won't be healing as much. This is particularly an issue for Armor units, as they typically work best in Enemy Phase. This, however, is less an issue for Ephraim, as he should always run Armor March to allow for doubling.

All things considered, I wouldn't fodder her. Ephraim has a bevy of ways to build him; there isn't a need for killing her off.

If you're not going to use Lissa, the fact is that your bold fighter, DC, aether are nothing but potential, like money is, in a certain way, worthless until we realize its potential by exchanging it for something we will use more directly.

The other thing you can do with your Lissa is build a team for her. That's probably what I would try to do. But if it proves impossible, sacrificing her might be best.

Sacraficing a time-exclusive character for a skill that´s not even originaly hers is not a good idea. Especially because W! Lissa was available for around 2 and a half week AND shares her focus colour with another character. So don´t do it. Also W!Lissa is super cute.
