If you are a F2P player like me, then Ishtar is a beast of a unit no matter what stats you get her (I got her today, with +Res/-Def). Even with the stats that you got her, she gets +10 to both Atk and Spd on player phases. You also have the choice of sacrificing her to a great player phase unit that you already have, for her C skill, Odd Attack Wave 3.

For Ares, perhaps you can sacrifice one of them for his A skill, Brazen Atk/Def to a good phys tank. Otherwise, I can't think of anything useful.

Ishtar is fine. Even though the IV's aren't ideal they aren't crippling either.

Ares is a bit harder to say. His speed isn't great to begin with but if you use the vantage build then it shouldn't matter, so I'd say +def -spd.
