Fury or Life + Death for Valter?

I plan on 5* my Valter soon, and giving him the Cursed Lance. He's also going to inherit Renewal 3 to help deal with some of the recoil damage from the CL.

I was considering Life and Death to give him a boost without taking extra damage and turning him into a nuke, but I see a lot of people recommending Fury as well.

Which would be best to use?

Mine has LnD along with Desperation, and he reaches 55 attack and 38 speed while still having 29 defense if he needs to take a hit (56, 39 and 30 if +2 merged). I really don't like the 10 damage recoil with his lance and Fury, but he is more like a tank with Fury and Renewal.
Plus with his lance he can proc Moonbow every time he doubles his ennemy (which is often the case with Hone flier).
