As a ftp I feel a bit overwhelmed now

Second, just be patient. How many points do you have on the Tempest Trial? You get 4 orbs for every 10,000 points. And since you have Elincia, it shouldn't be too difficult to get the orbs.

No matter how behind you're left,in my honest opinion,and no matter how rich you are,it seems stupid to spend money on this game...
economically it is not rewarding enough not worth it...
though you are completely free to be stupid))

You can still compete in Tier 20 with teams from several months ago, you don't *need* the new units in order to do so, on top of this just being a little mobile game. Winning and being "competitive" is utterly pointless, it's just a fun little past time, not something that should be eating up a hundred fucking real life dollars....

So my suggestion is just stop spending money, if you don't get a new unit cause the RNG gods decided to fuck you over this time around then oh well, move on and don't waste your money.

I can understand, not getting the heroes you either like or want is quite a common place for us F2P. But it’s how the game works and how it’s designed, to force that money out of you.

I personally both agree and disagree with some things the others have said.
I think not getting certain units and just working around the luck we do get is all we can really do, you can still get plenty of good units for Arena and stay very relevant in the game, meta and Tier 20 without the need for low BST Dancers/Singers or any other new hero.
However, personally I get a lot of enjoyment from getting and building heroes I like from the main series games and losing out on Azura would be quite a pain, but there are still plenty of great, likeable heroes without having getting the new ones (with more personality too lol).

What I somewhat disagree with though is that spending money on this game is ‘bad’. True, it may be very wasteful economically, but it’s your money, you work for it, and you get to spend it on whatever you want or not spend it at all. Of course within reason, if you’re having a hard time putting food in your fridge, I think then you might have a problem haha.
Personally, I find the most wasteful thing to do in life is to not live it how you want to, and if you make a good income, why not spend it or not spend it where you want to.

I think you're doing great, for what it's worth. I know it's easy to get incredibly frustrated when the RNG decides to screw around and give you every five star but the ones on the banner. I'm especially bad about spending money on special units that might not come back, because I'm afraid of missing out.

But the great thing about this game is that, with the help of some of the guides online, you can make really good teams without having to rely on spending big bucks. You can make a totally viable Horse Emblem using units you raised from 3 and 4 stars if you wanted, for example -- Cain, Abel, Gunter, and Jagen.

Don't give up on yourself just because you don't have the money to spend to pack every unit you can shake a stick at with Distant/Close Counter. You should be able to get to tier 17 in the arena pretty comfortably using free units. Just keep at it.
