Free 5* Summon?

A lot of people probably asked this already, I'm sorry, but I'd like to ask, would it be preferable to take Hector or Veronica as a free summon? Which one of them would benefit most with the neutral IV's?

I'm planning to make an armor emblem team which consists of Legendary Hector, Hector, Black Knight and a blue unit I lack. It was either to use Effie or this new Brave Hector. But as I thought about it again, my armor emblem team won't compete with the rest of the community's armor emblem team as they have a large amount of merges, which I am unable to obtain.

On the other hand, I don't use healers much but Veronica seems to be fun and interesting to use. She'll be very useful while doing abyssal stages (Proven from PM1's videos), and I'd like to try out healers for once, as I wasn't a big fan of using Elise.

And I did not obtain a single five star focus in the brave heroes banner. I got an Eldigan and an Olwen only.

Hector has a great base kit, fantastic stats and great uses, at neutral it can guarantee that his good stats don’t take a hit, -att or def would hurt slightly, but even if you get a bad set of ivs for him the effect is minimal due to how good he is.
Veronica is a horse healer glass cannon, highest spd out of the horse healers and decent attack, if you need a good support unit, veronica could be very good as a neutral choice. Although, Veronica much prefers a set of ivs for improvements for her spd for doubles or more attack.
If you need an Armored unit, hector would be a good choice for his amazing neutral stats.
If you want to start trying to use a horse healer, Veronica is also a great choice but would prefer having ivs over neutral. She is a fantastic support unit.
P.S. I got a +spd-def Veronica from the summons, I can attest to the fact that she is absolutely great, killing even the sturdiest of units in 1 round

I ended up pulling Veronica normally and used my free summon on B!Hector. I'd say Veronica is a good pick, especially if you don't already have a Wrazzle-Dazzle healer. She honestly helped a lot in helping me clear some recent PvE content, and like you said, she could be used in more FTP guides in the future. To me, the only downside with Veronica is that she won't score very high in Arena, but that also means that merges aren't necessarily that important for her, so you can basically free summon her and not have to worry about her again. Plus not risking plunging into the colorless pool again in the future.

That being said, Hector has performed better than I expected, so definitely not a bad pick. However I think he needs a teammate with Armor March to be really effective, and as far as Arena scoring goes, I would invest in a unit like Gwen or Effie if you're looking for a high-scoring Blue.

Personally I would recommend Veronica, but I will be honest in that I am biased when it comes to B!Hector (or as I call him "The Blasphemer").

If you really want to build an Armor Emblem that can compete with the rest of the community Effie, and probably Sheena for one of the green spots would likely be worth investing in.
