Found a 2.8.0 bug already
Skill Sets are a brand new feature, but while messing with out I found out that, well, Skill set names are currently shared for ALL heroes in your barracks, and changing it for one character will change it for all characters. I do not know whether this is also for skills that the characters have, but I will check shortly.
Edit: Skills shared between units do not carry over between sets. The sets themselves are personal, but the name is shared.

I don't think it's a bug because one can equip skill sets for up to 20 units at the same time, which would require some sort of naming consistency for each set.
Still, I would like it if IS could make some sort update that allows each unit's set to have a personalized name. I think a good update to this would be to display both the skill set number and the personalized name for each unit, but only display the skill set number when equipping skill sets for multiple units at the same time.

I know, but you also have the ability to equip skill sets for up to 20 units at the same time. If you have 20 different names, then how is that all going to fit when you decide to do that? There needs to be a naming consistency to avoid this sort of problem, but I don't like how the feature at its current form deals with it be forcing set names to be shared across all units.

Oh, wait - correct me if I'm wrong but I think you misunderstood.
Each unit has their own 5 skill sets that are set apart from other units' skill sets, and you can in theory pick a team where you use Unit 1's 1st set, unit 2's 4th set, unit 3's 2nd set and unit 5's 3rd set.

I know, and it is.
The thing is that the name sharing across all sets for your (100, 200, or however many you have total) units is supposed to be intentional rather than a bug--even though I rather it not be the case--because IS also added the option to change up to skill sets for up to 20 units at the same time, and the names of the sets are shared so that people know which set they are mass-equipping to their 20 units. If the skill set names were unique for each of the units, you'd have 20 names associated with each skill set slot, which would be a mess to display.
I'm hoping this makes sense.
